Welcome to Liam Undercroft’s refreshed author site

Welcome to the refreshed home of my fiction.

Both sites are officially operated by BLIPSIDE Press. Off Trek Asia focuses on practical life in Korea and across Asia, while the Liam Undercroft author site is home to the novels, story worlds, and writing.

I wanted the site to make it easier to find the stories, explore their worlds, and discover the ideas behind them. The updated homepage now gives each series a clear place to begin.

Choose your story world

The Spiral Wakes opens A Wounded Land: epic fantasy shaped by fractured oaths, inherited memory, and the cost of holding a wounded realm together.

ZERO LUX moves into near-future techno-noir, where surveillance and manipulated records can make the official version of events more powerful than the truth.

You’ll also find a character archive for The Spiral Wakes and articles on worldbuilding, speculative fiction, books, and writing.

Beyond the story worlds

If practical life in Korea and across Asia interests you, I’ve also refreshed Off Trek Asia. It brings together guides and stories about housing, work, money, food, culture, and the everyday choices that shape a life abroad.

Thank you for reading. Take a look around, and leave a comment to tell me which story world brought you here.

The two newsletters remain separate. Visiting Off Trek Asia does not add you to its mailing list.
